What is the difference between: Sterling Silver, 925 Silver, 92.5 Silver or .925 Silver?

Sterling Silver and the variants of 925 silver are all synonymous. 100% silver is combined with copper at the ratio of 92.5 percent pure silver to 7.5% copper which equals the standard of Sterling Silver. The copper is added to improve durability. Some parts of some of our jewelry is 100% silver as it is more malleable.

Blue Beach Glass double pendant, two very unique blue glass cabochons combined to create a beautiful pendant, the backs are open to allow true color to show. The top piece is mounted in a simple bezel and the bottom one has a lustrous frame, all handcrafted in sterling silver. Our glass is both beach glass and sea glass, also referred as drift, ocean or maritime glass.

Sea glass or beach glass is glass discarded as trash, tumbled by the surf of the sea and discovered and treasured by beach combers the world over. One of my favorite parts of the job is to wander the beach looking for treasures such as this piece of glass.

We have been traveling to many countries for over twenty years in search of treasures from the sea, we carry authentic sea glass, beach glass, drift glass, ocean glass, maritime glass, as well as many shell and fossil jewelry.

Sea glass and Beach glass are similar, the difference being that they come from different types of waters.

Authentic Sea Glass, also known as drift glass is weathered glass found along bodies of salt water.

Genuine Beach Glass comes from fresh water and the frostiness isn't as heavy, The outer surface of beach glass shards varies in texture, one side can be frosty while the other is shiny, because they are pieces broken off from larger glass objects less exposed to wave action and erosion.
